If we would only truly believe the Word of the Lord, and know and trust Him as children do their parents for everything - what riches of joy and peace are unlocked for us!

2 Cor 5:14 But thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumphal procession in Christ, and who reveals the fragrance of the knowledge of him through us in every place.
Eph 1:17 ...that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, ⌊the glorious Father⌋, may give you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him 18 (the eyes of your hearts having been enlightened), so that you may know what is the hope of his calling, what are the riches of the glory of his inheritance among the saints, 19 and what is the surpassing greatness of his power toward us who believe, according to the working of his mighty strength

Matthew 7:11 Therefore if you, although you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask him?

Rom 12:2 And do not be conformed to this age, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, so that you may approve what is the good and well-pleasing and perfect will of God.

If we being sinful, have an eternal relationship, and desire good things for our children though they are sometimes disobedient, what kind of relationship do you think He desires, and do you think He will ever disinherit us? His commands to obey are for our benefit and not chastisement! Children do not worry about where their food and clothing come from, but trust their parents to provide! They access all things and have power over all things by asking their parents to do it on their behalf. What power we have when we are in harmony with the will of the Lord and can ask Him to move mountains on our behalf! Even difficulty is a tool for increasing maturity in us, and is lovingly measured to our limits!

The greatest gift He has given us is to be able to know Him through His Word and the person of His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. Growing up in the knowledge of Him transforms our mind so that we no longer walk and grasp for the things of this world, but become more and more like Him, glorifying Him, and abiding in Him and His Love.

I pray for enlightened eyes and hearts among His children so that we can know, and be, His fragrance in a world that so badly needs it!!!
