Haven't you ever asked yourself - what really does all of human history mean? What's going on with God? Why doesn't He step in and wind up this planet? How long is this going to go on? and really....... WHY are we dealing with all this???  What's the whole deal with Adam and Eve? Why are bad people still running around if God is over all and above all?

You're not alone. People throughout the ages have wondered, but we are privileged in these last ages to finally know this answer!

 I am about to tell you!! Here's a picture that puts it all together, but you will need to read the rest of the article.

A. The first thing you need to know is that all of human history is a lesson in the wisdom of God to heaven.

Listen to the apostle Paul...

1 Cor 2 We speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, the hidden wisdom which God ordained before the ages for our glory...But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God.(Eph 3:10-11)to make all see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the ages has been hidden in God who created all things through Jesus Christ; to the intent that now the manifold wisdom of God might be made known by the church to the principalities and powers in the heavenly places, 11 according to the eternal purpose which He accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord...

Its not just about us! Yes we are important, humans were created in God's image as a gift to the Son and for our glory, but there is more to our history than that. We are a big lesson to all creation that Sin (Disobeying God) does NOT work! He really knows best!

B. The second thing you need to know, (and this might come as a shock) , that there was Sin in Heaven.

What? I thought Heaven was this amazing place where there was no Sin and everything was perfect!! :-) Yes, it will be, but thats not what the Bible teaches... Here's what the Bible says..

• Satan was the highest angel till he became proud and sinned by trying to become like God
• Not only did he sin, he also led a third of God's angels in open rebellion, who were cast out into the earth as punishment. Some of them cohabited (and some still do) with humans and created monstrosities called the Nephilim. (As an example..they are the demons that Christ fights and casts out when He walked the earth. They are here until they are finally judged). Read Rev 12 - 
• In all the subsequent ages, Satan still goes up and down the earth (first shows up in the garden of Eden), and comes before the face of God (read the book of Job, Zech 3). The earth is given to Him and his angels, but God retains control and protects his own interests and plan by various means (Godly men like Abraham, Angels, Prophets, the Law, Christ, the Gospel, the Church etc.). Why do I say that the earth is his? He offers it to Christ when he tests Him, and Christ does not correct him by saying its not his to give.
• He tries to kill Christ, but once Christ is resurrected, and ascends to God's throne, Satan is thrown out on the earth, now to be like one of his angels/demons.

Sin and Death entered the world from Heaven as a consequence of Adam and Eve's disobedience.( Rom 5:12 Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, in this way death spread to all men, because all sinned.)

C. The plan of God shows all heaven (and is recorded for all Humanity) the horrible consequences of Sin in various scenarios

• Scenario 1 : Sin can infect Angels in a perfect Heaven - exhibhit A - Satan and his angels; 
  
  Rev 12:3 Then another sign appeared in heaven: There was a great fiery red dragon having seven heads and 10 horns, and on his heads were seven diadems.His tail swept away a third of the stars in heaven and hurled them to the earth
  
  
• Scenario 2 - The Garden (in the picture above) : Sin can infect Humans in a perfect Earth - exhibhit B - Adam and Eve - created perfect with the capability not to Sin, still sinned.
  
  
• Scenario 3 - Pre Flood (in the picture above) : Post the Sin infection in the Garden, Sin causing murder (Adam's eldest murders his brother) almost immediately, The earth becomes filled with violence by man. To make matters worse, the (sin infected) angels cast out into the earth start interbreeding with Man! 
  
  Gen 6: When mankind began to multiply on the earth and daughters were born to them, 2 the sons of God saw that the daughters of mankind were beautiful, and they took any they chose as wives for themselves. 3 And the Lord said, "My Spirit will not remain with mankind forever, because they are corrupt. Their days will be 120 years." 4 The Nephilim were on the earth both in those days and afterward, when the sons of God came to the daughters of mankind, who bore children to them. They were the powerful men of old, the famous men. 5 When the Lord saw that man's wickedness was widespread on the earth and that every scheme his mind thought of was nothing but evil all the time....
  
  Jude writes:Jude 6,7 He has kept, with eternal chains in darkness for the judgment of the great day, the angels who did not keep their own position but deserted their proper dwelling. 7 In the same way, Sodom and Gomorrah and the cities around them committed sexual immorality and practiced perversions,just as angels did, and serve as an example by undergoing the punishment of eternal fire.
  
  
• Scenario 4 - Post Flood : The Lord wipes out all infected men - and starts again with Noah (but his family is still infected). Guess what, same result! The Lord lets mans reaction to his conscience be the guide of his actions - he does not provide any Laws.
  
  
• Scenario 5 - Sin in the Visible presence of God- The Wilderness Tabernacle - When He takes the Israelites out of Egypt, God is a very visible, almost tangible presence in their midst, as a cloud of smoke, and a pillar of fire. He even lives with them in a seperate tent! Does that stop Sin. NO!
  
  
• Scenario 6 - Sin in the presence of Law - God now writes down His Law's and makes an agreement with the Jews as an example people. Do they keep them? No.Still, God gives them prophecies and tells them of a coming messiah in His Word.
  
  
• Scenario 7- Sin in the Age of Grace - God comes down in the form of Christ and extends Grace and Mercy. Does everyone accept him? NO! Are even the ones that do, and are indwelt by the Holy Spirit able to keep from sinning? NO! Another feature of this Age of Grace is that Satan no longer has a place in Heaven and is now busy on earth (Read Rev 12 - the dragon is cast out after the Child is caught up to God and His throne).
  
  Rev 12:5 And the dragon stood in front of the woman who was about to give birth, so that when she did give birth he might devour her child. 5 But she gave birth to a Son—a male who is going to shepherd all nations with an iron scepter—and her child was caught up to God and to His throne........
  ....7 Then war broke out in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon. The dragon and his angels also fought, 8 but he could not prevail, and there was no place for them in heaven any longer. 9 So the great dragon was thrown out—the ancient serpent, who is called the Devil and Satan,the one who deceives the whole world. He was thrown to earth, and his angels with him.
  
  
• Scenario 8 - Sin in the Millenium - After Christ's second coming, Satan is now kept captive, and Christ visibly rules His Kingdom. This rule extends for a long time (most people interpret it as a thousand years - hence - the Millenium). After a thousand years of perfect, just rule, do you think people will stop sinning? NO!! (:--) you knew that was coming)... they SIN AGAIN! (read Rev 20)
  
  Rev 20:1 Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven with the key to the abyss and a great chain in his hand. 2 He seized the dragon, that ancient serpent who is theDevil and Satan, and bound him for 1,000 years. 3 He threw him into the abyss, closed it, and put a seal on it so that he would no longer deceive the nations until the 1,000 years were completed. After that, he must be released for a short time.

  Rev 20:7 When the 1,000 years are completed, Satan will be released from his prison 8 and will go out to deceive the nations at the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them for battle. Their number is like the sand of the sea. 9 They came up over the surface of the earth and surrounded the encampment of the saints, the beloved city. Then fire came down from heaven[e] and consumed them. 10 The Devil who deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur where the beast and the false prophet are, and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.

This is the point at which God steps in once and for all. Death and Hades, the Devil, a bunch of his other angels are thrown into the lake of fire, and God creates a NEW HEAVEN and a NEW EARTH. Non-infected, Non-cursed. The lesson is over. Christ is united with His Church. The Promises to Israel are fulfilled, and God has reconciled to Himself, all things in earth and in heaven through CHRIST!

1 Colossians : For God was pleased to have all His fullness dwell in Him, 20 and through Him to reconcile everything to Himself by making peace through the blood of His cross—whether things on earth or things in heaven.
