In Genesis we have a record of 5 classes of creation at 3 distinct times:-

1. The plant kingdom ( Day 3 )
2. Fish/Living creatures in the sea, Birds in the air ( Day 5 )
3. Animals and insects ( Day 6 ), Mankind

While micro-evolution ( variation in a species over time due to genetic mutation ) is well established, it is extremely difficult to believe that one fine day a fish decided to, or magically became capable of, walking on land ( most breathe oxygen ), or a land animal suddenly became able to fly - as an evolutionist would have us believe. If that was the case, given how much we like flying, our kids should have been able to do that by now!
"All flesh is not the same flesh, but there is one kind of flesh of men, another flesh of animals, another of fish, and another of birds." 1 Corinthians 15:39
Paul got it! These are different because they were created different. It is NOT possible for "Natural Selection" to create birds from fish!
Yet the economical hand of the Great Designer is seen in the way shapes and forms are so beautifully adapted for their different environments, but share similar concepts ( aerodynamics, propulsion, food and breathing, reproduction ) that reflect an overall unity of thought and design.
God loves diversity! Every snowflake different, every person different, millions of species, ever changing weather and landscapes, even the stars and galaxies are unique!

And all this from Nothing and Random chance? I think not.
